How exactly is the 'likely cause' category decided?
If you list one application or none, the result is automatically flagged as 'insufficient data' no matter how detailed everything else is — two or more applications is the minimum for a real analysis. From there, the tool picks from seven fixed categories (keyword mismatch, overqualified, underqualified, unclear target, too few applications, ATS-unfriendly format, or insufficient data) based on an explicit comparison between your CV and the actual jobs you applied to — not a general verdict on your CV in isolation.
What happens to my CV text after I submit it?
Your email and phone number are automatically stripped from your CV summary and target role before anything is sent for analysis. Your CV text, application list, and the result are saved to your account so you can review them later — never shared with a third party.
What if I don't agree with the diagnosis?
This is developmental guidance, not a final verdict. Check the evidence listed under the result — each point names a specific application by title — and compare it against your own read of the situation. You can always edit your application list and re-run the analysis with more accurate details.

Confidence reflects how strong the evidence for the stated cause is: 'high' when it rests on direct, strong evidence from your own listed applications, 'medium' when the reasoning is plausible but not certain, and 'low' when the data is partially thin without being thin enough to refuse analysis outright.
Does the analysis work in English too?
