We use a limited set of cookies necessary for the platform to work, plus optional analytics if you consent — no advertising cookies, no third-party marketing trackers at all.
Necessary cookies
A login session cookie (`job_session`, 30 days) and a CSRF-protection cookie (`job_csrf`, 30 days) — disabling either breaks sign-in. Platform staff get an extra elevation cookie (`job_admin_elevated`, 30 minutes) for sensitive admin actions specifically — there is no separate admin session, since admin identity is the same login identity. A short-lived cookie (`job_logged_out`, one hour) is set after sign-out to prevent reuse of a previous session.
Language preference cookie
The `job_lang` cookie remembers your choice between Arabic and English when you switch, so we don’t ask every visit. Used for no other purpose.
Zayenha Hub cookies
Your account is unified across Zayenha Hub; an account-level language cookie (`zh_lang`) reaches us from there and we only read it — we never set or change it. Control it from your Zayenha Hub account settings or directly from your browser.
Analytics measurement (optional)
If you consent from the cookie banner, we log page views and technical performance metrics (load speed) to improve the platform — no advertising cookie, no sharing with any third party. We never enable this measurement before your explicit consent, and you can withdraw or decline it from the cookie banner on any later visit.
Theme cookie (dark/light mode)
The `job_theme` cookie remembers your choice between dark and light mode for one year, so we don’t reset to the default every visit. Used for no other purpose.
Your cookie-consent cookie/storage itself
When you make a choice from the cookie banner, we save it in your browser (localStorage) with no fixed expiry — it stays until you clear it from your browser settings. A backup copy of your choice is also kept in a `zh_cookie_consent` cookie for 180 days, read only if the primary storage is missing (for example, after a partial browser data clear).
